Job description
The mechanic’s main role is to repair and maintain multifunction tractors and to install equipment on these tractors. He also performs electrical or hydraulic work on snow removal equipment for heavy trucks.
Responsabilities
- Install, dismantle and move mechanical equipment such as pumps, tanks and electrical or hydraulic systems;
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment for malfunctions and failures;
- Install equipment on tractors or heavy trucks;
- Perform preventive maintenance on tractors.
Qualifications required
- Knowledge and experience in diesel mechanics
- Specialized training in automotive or heavy equipment mechanics (an asset)
- Good knowledge of French and English
- Team spirit
- Dynamism
